REBOZO: ACCOMPANYING THE DIFFERENT CYCLES OF LIFE: A simple, holistic and powerful tool.

Our society is cruelly lacking benchmarks, celebrations of the different phases of life, accompaniment of our emotions, rituals of passage.

Yet, ancestral cultures had simple tools that marked the stages of a life.

The rebozo is one of them. Present throughout Latin America, and more particularly in Mexico, this piece of cloth worn by women, accompanies the different times of the feminine: from puberty to pregnancy, childbirth to the life of mother, wife and from adult woman to menopause, the rebozo is a faithful companion. In turn, beauty scarf, body wrap and cradle, anti pain of childbirth, rebozo anchors and facilitates passages.

The rebozo today in France is better known and practiced as a care after childbirth, allowing the young mother to reintegrate her female body, to close the period of pregnancy and birth and to open to a new dimension of woman. This treatment has 3 essential steps: a 4-handed touch treatment, a hot plant bath (traditionally in a sweat lodge) and a tightening wrap in 7 key points with the tissue. It is a holistic care that integrates physical, emotional and spiritual.

By expanding its traditional horizon, the rebozo is also useful for other times when we need to move on: moving, separation, divorce, change of work or situation, departure of children etc ... and can to be offered to men. Adaptations are possible for babies and children in the form of cradles.

True companion of the mournings and rebirths, the rebozo, as a ritual of passage, allows at the same time to honor what we lived in the past and to celebrate what comes by facilitating the new one or should I say the renewal.

Rebozo helps us to relate the different aspects of our personality within ourselves so that our inner diamond shines with its many facets.
